Welcome to the phenomen known as The Rift. The rift is an intergalactic gate that joins our galaxy and the galaxy we call Andromeda. The Rift was created by inhabitants of Andromeda when they had run out of resources. Once The Rift had been created they sent a fleet through and ordered them to colonize. Only one problem, The Rift appeared no more than five lightyears from the United Planets of America's border. What the fleet found was not a docile group of races but the most fearsome people in the galaxy, Humans...
